The Perdana Putra is a building in Putrajaya, Malaysia



Perdana Putra is the Prime Minister's Department Complex. Strategically located at the new Federal Government Administrative Centre, Putrajaya is within radius of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) and about 40km from the Federal Capital, Kuala Lumpur. Perdana Putra is a six storey building comprising the Main Block and flanked by the East and West Wings.

The Prime Minister's Office is located at the Central Main Block and is distinguished by the distinctively topped main dome design that resembles the Zahir Mosque in Alor Setar, Kedah.

The West Wing consists of offices of the Deputy Prime Minister, Ministers and Deputy Ministers as well as Parliamentary Secretaries in the Prime Minister's Department. The Malaysian Industries-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) and Advisory Board are also located here.

The East Wing houses the offices of the Chief Secretary to the Government, Cabinet Divisions and the Implementation and Coordination Unit (ICU).

Putrajaya Bridge

Project Description: Construction of Putrajaya bridge started in June 1998 and was completed in 2000. The bridge consists of 2 pylons which is 53 m. high and 1 arch bridge which is 32 m. high.
The main span length is equal to 300 m.
For hangers of arch, 50 tons of 46 BBR DINA 120 dia. 7 mm. are installed..
For stay cables, 750 tons of 84 BBR CONA are installed; 44 main cable stay and 40 for back stay cables, with lengths varying from 60 to 160 m. .
